Honeymoon Locations:
Their honeymoon was almost over before it began!
The planning of your wedding should include your ideas for honeymoon locations as many resorts are popular with honeymooners and you wouldn’t want to be disappointed by not being able to get the place of your choice. You would not want to find that your choice is overcrowded or overbooked -- this is particularly so at certain times of the year.
Honeymoons are a special time as it signifies the start of your new life together as a couple. You will want it to be romantic and memorable. Although complete seclusion these days is doubtful, the honeymoon can still be romantic.
Whether you are planning on escaping to a paradise island with sun and sand or a winter wonderland of ski fields and snow you need to plan your destination early on in the planning of your wedding. Don’t spoil your wonderful wedding day by having to settle for the second best destination.
Early planning will mean you can take advantage of special packages or off-peak times. It will give you time to research all the activities you might like to take part in, or not! There may be special cruises, spas, horse trekking – whatever takes your fancy.
Things to consider when planning your honeymoon are your tastes in travel. While some prefer luxury with access to spas and hot springs others like adventure and prefer such things as mountain climbing and skiing. Sort these preferences out first to make the best of your honeymoon plans.
If you are unable to afford an expensive honeymoon vacation package, you may want to plan a night or two away at a romantic location near you. This may be the best solution for you both to start your new life together without starting out in debt. You can enjoy the time you spend together and keep your budget on track.
Let me tell you about my friends Rachel and Peter. They are not known as great organizers, so I was quite impressed at how smoothly the wedding went. Mind you, they had a lot of help from their folks. So while everyone attending the wedding had a wonderful time Rachael and Peter had a miserable honeymoon.
Putting all their effort into the wedding they didn’t plan their honeymoon. Their choice of honeymoon location wasn’t available because of the seasonal rush…but it didn’t really stop there. They ended up in a second rate bed and breakfast and having to share bathroom facilities. I won’t do into the other disasters but for a honeymoon couple I think that’s quite enough. Their honeymoon was completely ruined and resulted in this happy go lucky couple having many arguments.
Don't let this happen to you, you have the chance to get it right! You will find many tips including finding the best honeymoon locations, finding bargain spots -- without compromising luxury, helping your decide whether you need the services of a travel agent and many more in this honeymoon planner -- referred to as a Honeymoon Bible by one happy couple!
